These mirrors feature a low scattering, high reflecting surface, but there have been only few surface geometries that could be machined to an adequate accuracy.
With the KUGLER® latest diamond machining equipment, it is possible to manufacture even aspherical or non-rotationally symmetric surfaces like large off-axis parabolic mirrors with an excellent geometric accuracy and a high surface quality.
